Martin was born in Worcestershire, more years ago now than he cares to remember! He’s a welding engineer by day and a comic collector/film buff/aspiring writer by night.

He was brought up on a staple diet of Hammer Horror movies and comics ranging from
Valiant, the Beano, the Topper, the Scorcher, TV21, the Buster, Dracula Lives and the
Mighty World of Marvel. An eclectic taste, we are sure you’d agree.

When he got to his mid- teens, he had the epiphany that he was now a grown up, so did the only thing that seemed the right thing to do, and that was to dump all his comics. Now he seems to spend a good deal of his time and money replacing his old collection of British and American comics.

Always a fan of such artists as Solano Lopez, Mike Western, Eric Bradbury, Brian Walker, and the list goes ever on… he now also try to collect original art. They’re more valuable to him than the Mona Lisa!

He has written a children’s adventure story called; GateHaven Chronicles: The Ghost, the Thief; the God-Hammer. It’s available through Amazon and the Wordery, for those inquiring minds.

He’s also a regular contributor to We Belong Dead horror magazine, and has also written for Unsung Horrors volumes 1 & 2, Monster Memories of the 1970’s, and the Peter Cushing tribute book. Upcoming projects include a Horror pictorial guide and a Vincent Price tribute book.

And if the wind is blowing in the right direction, he also leaps tall buildings in a single bound!
