Lady Flintlock to appear in ComicScene

One of the most popular strips from the Great Big ComicScene Annual 2019 was Lady Flintlock from by Steve Tanner Anthony Summey and Bolt-01.

We can now reveal the wicked 18th century highwayman is to make a second outing over three parts in ComicScene Magazine from our June issue. She will be joining the aliens of Our Land, currently being serialised now (from Issue 2). The June issue will also feature a complete story from Captain Cosmic by Andy W.Clift as well as humour strips from Marc Jackson, Ed Doyle, Andy Holloway and Mr Jimer.

Lady Flintlock is published by Time Bomb Comics. There are currently three books available and the team are about the launch their new anthology Brawler.

Publisher Tony Foster explained, “Pat Mills suggested in his recent Last Word column that appearing in ComicScene would be a good platform to get into comics or have your work seen by more people. With newsstand distribution of ComicScene we thought it might be an interesting summer project to highlight some of the great creators and stories out there in the indie and small press sector. We look forward to sharing some of the comics that came forward direct to us or that people suggested we should feature to a wider audience. Alongside that we will be directing readers to new projects like Brawler, Space Warp from Pat Mills and fantastic work coming from established publishers in the U.K., US, Europe and worldwide.”

“Lady Flintlock is a perfect adventure story that we think people will enjoy. If readers like the experiment we may do more strips from the indie and small press sector. Creators can get in touch at comicsflix@gmail.com ”
